The Mitsu Liquid Tape is a intelligent three layer compound, designed to provided maximum stretchability, durability and water seal.

The top layer is a neoprene-like material. Its function is to absorb moist, in order to make softer and stretchier. In addition to this the moist pre- served inside the material increases it's resistance to ultra violet light.

The second layer acts as a media to combine the top layer and the bottom glue coating, it also seals the water from entering into the bottom layer.

The third bottom layer is an adhesive which is applied with heat to vulcanizes part of the liquid tape material with the nylon on the suit, creating an extremely strong bond. Besides this, it is immune from sodium chloride found in sea water.
